Responsible for building and testing the conversion suite through to final conversion.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analysing source data and creating conversion specifications to target platform (First Vision) Building and testing conversion programs Building and amending conversion JCL. Looking to re-use existing functionality where ever possible. Building re-usable code and procedures. Creating exceptions and totals reports. Ensuring their work is Quality Inspected. Preparing converted files for handover to Service Delivery or Data Centre. Contributing to Implementation Plan. Problem identification, resolution and recovery. Statistical Data Analysis. Supporting Mocks, Dress Rehearsals and Live conversion. Identification of Risks and Issues and escalating to Conversion Lead. Following First Data practices including completion of PMRs and Test Director Logs. Continual process improvement.

Communication Skills Spoken and Written fluency in Spanish and English (Spanish preferred but not required) Ability to communicate openly and effectively in both written and verbal form.Technical & Platform Knowledge Minimum of 3 years IT experience Experience using Microsoft Windows, COBOL, Mainframe applications, IBM JCL, SAS, FileAid, and TSO. Experience working with VisionPLUS modules and data files Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail including the ability to analyse data from different platforms in order to integrate the data into the Vision Plus platform. Miscellaneous May require some travel Flexibility - will require working some weekends and after business hours. Ability to manage tasks in a fast paced environment. Experience of working in a diverse and challenging environment. Ability to make information based decisions (includes the ability to make decisions based upon little information and to deal effectively with ambiguity).
