Position Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently searching for an Oracle OBIEE Developer to join our team.

***The ideal candidate will be local to the Richmond, VA area. No travel requirements***

Responsibilities:

:

  • Providing technical direction and leadership to design and implement Business Intelligence enterprise analytics and performance management solutions for multiple business areas
  • Deploying and configuring OBIEE Analytics application
  • Keeping up to date on the Oracle BI tools, upgrade options, enhancements, add-ons and features in the OBIEE tool set
  • Advising the customer on best options to meet information distribution and reporting options
  • Adhering to structured development lifecycle methodology
  • Creating technical design documentation
  • Presenting technical design in review sessions
  • Developing and modifying dashboards, RPDs, BI Publisher
  • Participating in all phases of development life cycle
  • Troubleshoot testing defects and providing solutions for system and UAT
  • Provide troubleshooting of issues to the support team
  • Aligned to specify customer areas to learn the business, design solutions, and provide support for the business area

    Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and how BI can help customers better understand and manage their business
  • Minimum of 2 OBIEE/Siebel Analytics project development experiences or 3 years proven experience working with multiple subject areas
  • Must be a hands-on developer
  • Experience designing and delivering Business Intelligence and OBIEE solutions across the enterprise
  • Hands-on experience gathering reporting and analysis requirements, documenting the report specifications, implement the metadata layers including physical, semantic, and presentation layers and generating reports and dashboards using Answers, Dashboards and BI Publisher
  • Sound understanding of agile methodologies and prototyping abilities to drive solutions forward
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance terms, understand chart of accounts, balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, segment reporting, operational and management reporting, etc. to help provide guidance to the customer
  • An understanding of reporting/OLAP concepts
  • A sound understanding of BI best practices

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Masters degree preferred

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • Oracle certification(s) desired
