Position Status: Part Time

Primary Duties: This position will work 16 hours per week, mainly weekends. The cook works under the supervision of the Food Service Manager. The kitchen cook will prepare food according to standard recipes with special attention to portion control and presentation. Will organize work routine to meet scheduled meal-service/shift deadlines. Will accommodate short-notice patient feeding requests. Will operate and clean equipment, maintaining a sanitary, tidy work area. Will work congenially as a team member, performing production, trayline, cafe service and sanitation assignments. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to read and write English. Cooking experience is required and bulk-cooking experience is highly desired.

Schedule: This position will work mainly weekends; 8-hr shifts
